Apollo Melon (each)
Apollo Melon is a little bit similar with Golden Langkawi Melon but the difference can be distinguished from the skin surface. The skin on Apollo melon has webbed sketch and brighter colour. The taste of this melon variety is also sweet, fresh, and fibreless texture. The water content inside Apollo melon is abundant. Therefore, this melon variety is also the most popular melon variety.
*When storing a halved melon, leave the seeds in to help keep it fresh. Once you've cut into a melon, wrap the remainder in plastic and it should keep in the fridge for about 3 days.
How To Pick:
1. Inspect the melon for defects.
2. Check the skin colour. Choose a melon with a dull looking appearance. A shiny outside is an indicator of an underripe melon.
3. Size does matter.
4.Tap the melon with the palm of your hand. If you hear a hollow sound, it's passed the first test.
5. Don't forget the smell test.Push your fingers on the round section where the vine was attached. It should be slightly soft and should smell fresh and fragrant with a hint of sweetness.
